LESSON DESCRIPTION

In this ESL lesson plan for adults and teens, students watch a video and do a listening exercise on the sites, attractions, and city of Las Vegas. It includes discussion questions, conversation, and other activities about Las Vegas. Students also learn some important vocabulary terms, expressions, and phrases from the video. The grammar exercise features the third conditional. There is also a quiz & review section which includes some bonus activities.

Step out of the ordinary world and into the dazzling “Sin City,” better known as Las Vegas, Nevada. Roam around The Strip, and be sure to check out the numerous casinos, cocktail lounges, “mythical cities” and the escapist fantasies lining the city.
