LESSON DESCRIPTION
In this ESL lesson plan for adults and teens, students watch Kamala Harris give a speech as the USA’s first female vice president. It includes discussion questions and other speaking activities about gender equality and women’s rights. Students also learn some important vocabulary terms and phrases from the video. The post-viewing sections include activities on vocabulary, missing letters, phrases from the video, and parts of speech. There are additional speaking tasks included, as well as a quiz and review section with a bonus activity.
