COFFEE ESL LESSON PLAN DESCRIPTION
In this ESL lesson plan for adults and teens, students watch an informational report about how caffeine addiction changed history, the impacts and effects of caffeine and drinking coffee, and caffeine’s role in modern society. It includes discussion questions, and conversation and vocabulary activities about coffee and alcohol. Students then do some listening/viewing comprehension activities based on the video. The viewing follow-up includes two discussion activities, and activity about adjectives and verb + noun phrases used to describe the effects of coffee. There are additional ‘Conversation & Debate Tasks’, as well as a quiz & review and lesson reflection included.
