LESSON OVERVIEW
This short speaking worksheet deals with business communication idioms. It includes such tasks as filling in the gaps, matching definitions and group discussion.
VOCABULARY
Thanks to this worksheet, students will learn the idioms such as: get off the wrong foot with, read between the lines, break the ice, take a back seat, etc. First, students need to fill in sentences with the missing words. They get all the words in the box and try to correctly complete idioms. Next, they need them to their meanings in the next exercise.
SPEAKING
The speaking part consists of questions that include the idioms students learn more about. Students can answer the questions in pairs or groups, or you can do it as an open discussion.
