In this lesson, students discuss the article they read at home, talk about the pizza vending machine and the future of cooking.

ACTIVITIES
In the warm-up activity, students need to come up with three things that fall into categories, e.g. popular pizza toppings. Then, they discuss the article they read at home and talk about the food industry. After that, students do a vocabulary task in which they need to choose one of three words in each statement (e.g. automation, operate, quality). They also say which of the statements they agree with. If they don’t agree, they have to change the statements. Finally, students look at five automation ideas (e.g. a 3D food printer) and choose which ones they would invest in and why.
