ACTIVITIES
In the warm-up activity, students need to choose the best ending for the definition of the phrase professional networking. Then, they discuss some general questions about networking. After that, they match sentence halves. The sentences contain vocabulary related to networking (e.g. have connections, return the favour, exchange information). There is also a list of concept-checking questions in the teacher’s version of the worksheet and in the e-lesson plan. Next, students need to choose three of the sentences they created and discuss them. Finally, students look at some networking tips and share their views on how good or bad they are.
