Lesson overview

The main goals of this ESL lesson plan are to:

  • – expand vocabulary related to global warming through discussion activities about thought-provoking pictures, reading about combating climate change, and engaging with environmental word clouds;

Warm-up

The lesson starts with students discussing their thoughts on a thought-provoking picture.

Video

Students will watch a video entitled “Climate Change: How does it really work?” A series of questions related to the video will follow aimed at improving conversational skills.

Grammar
