In this Business English lesson plan, the students will learn about and discuss rebranding. They will also learn how superlative adjectives can be modified.

Warm-up

Free talk questions about brands are used as the springboard of the discussion.

Vocabulary: branding

Useful words and phrases that are related to branding, rebranding, and advertising will be presented all throughout (billboard, commercial, advertisement, etc.).

Video: Campbell’s rebranding

The student watches a video about a famous brand of soup redesigning its iconic can. They answer the questions based on the video and decide if certain parts of their redesign are part of their new marketing strategy or rebranding.

Grammar: Superlative post-modification

The student learns how superlative adjectives can be post-modified.
