LESSON DESCRIPTION

In this ESL lesson plan for adults and teens, students watch a short informational video and do a listening exercise about kids giving dating/love advice to adults. It includes discussion questions and conversation activities about dating. Students also learn some important vocabulary terms and phrases from the video. The post-viewing section includes activities on the modal verb “should” in some of the quotes from the video, and other common modal verbs. There is an additional modal verbs task and role play task included, as well as a lesson reflection at the end.
