LESSON DESCRIPTION

In this ESL lesson plan for adults and teens, students watch a short news report video about the best metro in the world in Hong Kong. It includes discussion questions and conversation activities about the metro and public transportation in general. Students also learn some important vocabulary terms from the video. The post-viewing section includes an activity on vocabulary context usage and grammar featuring modal verbs (can, should, have to). There are additional speaking / vocabulary tasks included, as well as a quiz and review section.
