LESSON DESCRIPTION

In this ESL lesson plan for adults and teens, students watch a music video from the rock band known as Queen featuring the song “It’s a Hard Life”. It includes discussion questions, conversation, and other activities about love, life challenges, and romantic relationships. Students also learn some important vocabulary terms, phrases, and prepositions from the song lyrics. Instead of a featured grammar point, you’ll find a section on spelling. There are additional speaking tasks included, as well as a quiz and review section with a bonus activity.
