LESSON DESCRIPTION

In this ESL lesson plan for adults and teens, students watch a news report and a review of the “FoldiMate” – a laundry folding robot on display at a CES trade show. It includes discussion questions, conversation, and other activities about chores, laundry, clothing, and electronics. Students also learn some important vocabulary terms and phrases from the video. The grammar exercise features the usage of the prepositional phrase “instead of + gerund”. There are additional speaking tasks included, as well as a quiz and review section with a bonus activity.
